Whereas before we automatically got prints to look at and share when we developed our films, nowadays our pictures are all 'virtual' and therefore locked up in our cameras, memory cards and computers, seldom seeing the light of day. The NV-561 with its high resolution, bright 5.62" TFT screen displaying digital photos in vivid colour, allows you to 'play' your very own slideshow of photographs directly from your memory card - you can shoot pictures during the day, and be showing them off straight away. The frame automatically resizes your pictures to fit, and allows you to chose between 7 different time intervals, and sixteen different transition effects between your photos.

The NV-800 has a high resolution, bright 8" TFT screen displaying digital photos in vivid colour, allowing you not only to 'play' photo slideshows but also MPEG1,2 and 4 movies. You simply plug in your memory card (it accepts CF, SD, XD, MMC and MS) and the frame automatically resizes your pictures and movies to fit. The frame will display as much info as is on your card, so you're only limited by the amount of memory you have. Like with the NV-561 you can chose between 7 different time intervals, and sixteen different transition effects between your photos, as well as letting you mix them with your mini movies.

It's considerably easier to use than battling with your printer at home to try and get a decent print, and the end result is far more vibrant and 'alive' than a dull piece of paper.
